Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 27, 2025
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Zambala LLC ("TelehealthTech," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use telehealthtech.org and related services (the "Site").
The Site is a B2B publishing resource for operators evaluating telehealth and digital pharmacy infrastructure. It is not a telehealth clinic, and we do not intentionally collect patient medical records or other protected health information ("PHI").
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide to us
We may collect information you choose to provide, such as:
- Contact information (name, work email, company, role) when you use contact forms, request templates, sign up for updates, or participate in surveys.
- Information about your projects or programs (for example, what you are building, timelines, or volume estimates) when you request introductions or share feedback.
- Content of messages you send to us, including corrections, suggestions, or experience with platforms we cover.
Please do not include PHI, patient names, or other patient-identifiable information in this content.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
When you use the Site, we may automatically collect:
- Log data (such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, and pages viewed).
- Usage data (such as click paths, time on page, scroll depth, and interactions with forms, CTAs, or downloads).
- Cookie and similar technology data (such as pixels or local storage) used to remember your preferences, improve performance, and measure campaigns.
2.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from:
- Service providers that support our Site (for example, analytics platforms, CRM tools, or form processors).
- Vendors or partners, when you have interacted with them and they share high-level information about referrals or closed deals.
- Public sources, such as professional profiles, company websites, or press releases, in connection with our research.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our content.
- Respond to your inquiries, requests, or support questions.
- Provide and improve templates, guides, and other resources.
- Analyze how the Site is used, including which content is most useful to operators.
- Run experiments to improve navigation, copy, or conversion flows.
- Prevent, detect, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and other policies.
- Communicate with you about updates, new content, surveys, or opportunities, where permitted by law.
When we rely on consent (for example, for certain cookies or email marketing in certain jurisdictions), you may withdraw your consent at any time as described below.
4. How we share information
4.1 Service providers
We use third-party service providers to host the Site, provide analytics, manage forms and email communications, store data, and operate our business. These providers may access information about you only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.
4.2 Vendors and partners
If you request an introduction, download a vendor-specific resource, or otherwise indicate that you want to connect with a specific platform:
- We may share your contact details and relevant project information with that vendor so they can follow up with you.
- We may include a referral or tracking identifier to support our commercial relationships.
We will not share this information with vendors for this purpose unless you ask us to or it is reasonably clear from the context (for example, submitting a match form that explicitly says we will connect you to vendors).
4.3 Legal, safety, and business transfers
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that doing so is reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests.
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of TelehealthTech, our users, or the public.
- Detect and respond to fraud, security, or technical issues.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell information in the traditional sense of selling lists of personal data to unrelated third parties for their own standalone marketing, and we do not sell PHI.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
- We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how content is used, and improve performance.
- Some cookies are essential for the Site to function; others are used for analytics and measurement.
- You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, including by blocking or deleting them. Doing so may affect certain Site features.
- Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for non-essential cookies.
6. International data transfers
- We are based in the United States and process information in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate.
- If you are accessing the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.
- Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (for example, contractual commitments) to protect personal data in connection with such transfers.
7. Data retention
- We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Site, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- We may anonymize or aggregate information so that it can no longer reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual and may retain that information for longer.
8. Security
- We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
- No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or stored on the Site.
9. Your choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following choices:
- Email communications: You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or by contacting us at contact@telehealthtech.org. We may still send you non-marketing messages related to your inquiries or our ongoing relationship.
- Cookies: You can manage cookies through your browser or device settings. Some jurisdictions may also require or allow additional cookie controls through banners or preference centers.
- Information you provide: You can choose not to provide certain information, but this may limit your ability to use some Site features (for example, we may not be able to respond to a form submission without contact details).
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data-protection laws (for example, GDPR in the EU/UK, or CCPA/CPRA in California), which may include rights to:
- Access personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction, updating, or deletion of your personal information.
- Object to or request restriction of certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Receive a portable copy of certain information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising certain privacy rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@telehealthtech.org with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Certain information may be exempt from such requests under applicable law.
If you are in the EU/UK, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to address your concerns.
11. Children's privacy
- The Site is not directed to or intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
- If you believe we have collected information from a child under 18, please contact us so we can delete it.
12. Third-party sites and services
- The Site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control.
- This Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites or services you visit.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
- We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- If we make material changes, we may also provide additional notice (for example, by posting a notice on the Site).
